I'm a librarian with lots of interests, including libraries, computers, gadgets, American history and retro stuff. Writing always seemed like a fun thing to do, so I'm giving that a whirl.

New Stuff!

Hi everyone!

Hope your 2014 has been going well so far?  It’s started out ok for me.  Busy, but that’s good, right?

American_ArsenalI’ve just posted up a new Book of the Month.  This one is entitled American Arsenal by OUP.  I was given the chance to review a hardback edition of this title and came away quite impressed.  Lots of “backstory” and details that tend to get lost over time.

If you get a chance to check this out of your library or even purchase it, you will it quite interesting!

I’ve got lots of topics I’ve been working on for the blog, just trying to Chicago__progress_expo_poster_1933find the time to put them up.  In particular, I’ve been wanting to focus on World Fairs just because there is so much history and cultural information that can be found there.  Keep stopping by and checking us out as you get the opportunity!
