While I had been here before, it’s always neat to see something you really like and the history behind it, the personalities, the hard work and yes, sometimes even some controversy.
If you haven’t had a chance to hit the backstory about Hershey, all of his initial business failures, successes, and growth, then it’s worth it to spend some time digging around the Internet and finding out some more information.
Then of course, beyond just the basic business information, sometimes it’s fun learning about the story behind all of the candy. Here’s a few links that I enjoyed that you might as well: Hershey bar, Reese cups, Hershey Kiss
On a more serious note, if you’re really into research, either professionally ( a librarian like myself) or just like to dig around, you can always check out the local historical archives. The Hershey Community Archives has a ton of information.
There’s a lot of sweet information here, so if you’re looking to find out more about Hershey chocolate, I can guarantee you will find something you like. What follows below is a list of links to get you started!
